Cheryl Eversden Receives Certification

Cheryl Eversden, of International Eyecare Center in Quincy recently obtained board certification as an optician.

The certification, awarded by the American Board of Opticianry (ABO), signifies that Eversden has attained a high level of knowledge and technical skills in dispensing eyewear.

The ABO, a national, non-profit organization, administers voluntary certification examinations for dispensing opticians across the country. Certification is achieved by comprehensive examination and maintained through continuing education approved by the ABO.

Eversden joined IEC in 2003. International Eyecare Center (IEC) encourages and supports certification for its employees. IEC is located at 2445 Broadway, Quincy, IL.
